Richardson, Earp & Slater showcard dating from the 1890s. Richardson, Earp & Slater's Trent Brewery was established on Millgate, Newark on Trent, in 1857. The Trent Brewery merged with Richard Warwick & Sons in 1890 to form Warwicks & Richardsons Ltd. The Company was acquired by John Smith's Tadcaster Brewery Co. Ltd in 1962 and brewing ceased in 1966.
