Ltd, Leeds, and Carter & Sons Victoria Brewery of Wakefield with 67 tied houses. The name was changed to Melbourne Brewery (Leeds) Ltd in December 1957. The Melbourne Brewery and 245 public houses were acquired by Joshua Tetley & Son Ltd in 1960 and brewing ceased in 1961.
