Crown Brewing Co. Ltd aluminium tray dating from the 1950s. The Company was registered as the Bury Co-operative Brewing & Distilling Co. Ltd in 1861 and the name was changed to the Crown Brewing Company Ltd in 1866. The business was acquired by Dutton's Blackburn Brewery Ltd in 1959 and brewing ceased. Although there is no manufacturer's mark I am certain that it was produced by Hancock, Corfield & Waller Ltd.
