Arthur Guinness, Son & Co. Ltd tin tray dating from 1960. The Guinness Brewery was built between 1933 and 1936 and was opened in 1937. In 1997 Guinness merged with Grand Metropolitan Hotels plc to create a new Company, Diageo. Diageo ceased the production of Guinness at the Park Royal Brewery in 2005, transferring all brewing to the Dublin site. The manufacturer's mark states - GA/WT/880 Printed in Great Britain by The Metal Box Co.Ltd. (MB 6) There were in fact two versions of this particular tray produced by The Metal Box Co. Ltd, one from tin like this one featured, and one from alloy which dates much earlier.
