Arthur Guinness, Son & Co. Ltd alloy tray dating from 1952. The Guinness Brewery was built between 1933 and 1936 and was opened in 1937. In 1997 Guinness merged with Grand Metropolitan Hotels plc to create a new Company, Diageo. Diageo ceased the production of Guinness at the Park Royal Brewery in 2005 transferring all brewing to the Dublin site. The manufacturer's mark states - GA/WT/983 Printed in Great Britain by The Metal Box Co. Ltd. (MB 6)
