The South London Brewery was founded in 1760 on Southwark Bridge Road in South London.
The business traded as R. & H.Jenner & Sons until 1937 when it was registered as Jenner's Brewery Ltd.
The Company changed its name to the South London Brewery Ltd in 1939 when it was acquired by Beamish & Crawford Ltd.
Woodhead's Brewery Ltd purchased a stake in the business in 1944, and all its brewing activities were transferred to Southwark in 1949.
The South London Brewery ceased brewing in 1964 after Woodhead's Brewery Ltd was taken over by Charrington United Breweries Ltd.
