The original brewery was owned by Satchell & Co. off the Bishopric in Horsham.
The North Street Brewery was purchased by maltster James King in 1850.
The Company was named King & Sons until 1893 when it was registered as King & Sons Ltd.
The North Brewery merged with G.H.Barnes & Co. East Street Brewery in Horsham in 1906, to form King & Barnes Ltd.
All production was concentrated at King's North Brewery and the East Street Brewery was closed.
By the 1950s the name had changed from the North Brewery to the Horsham Brewery.
The Company, with its Horsham Brewery and 55 public houses, was taken over by Hall & Woodhouse Ltd in 2000.
The brewery was sold and demolished.
