Blackburn Brewery Co. Ltd black backed steel tray dating from the 1920s.

The Company was originally registered as Joseph Eatough & Co. Ltd in 1876.
The name changed to the Higher Eanam Brewery Co. Ltd in 1879, and was wound up in 1881.
The Company was reformed as the Blackburn Brewery Co. Ltd in 1882.
A new Swan Brewery based on Lark Hill Street in Blackburn was built in 1894, becoming fully operational in 1895.
The Swan Brewery, with over 100 tied houses, was acquired by Dutton's Blackburn Brewery Ltd in 1928, when brewing ceased.
The building was used by Dutton's as a bottle store between 1947 and 1949, then for storage and garaging until 1962.
The site was demolished in 1963.
