Brewing recommenced in a smaller new brewhouse in 1982. Brewing ceased again in 2017. The wholesale business is still based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

Brewng ceased again in 2017, and production was transferred to Castle Eden.
The business was acquired by the Kitwave Group, a drinks wholesaler from the North East, in 2019, and is still based in Wakefield.
