The premises were converted from stores for the production of cider.

Ashford Valley Cider Co. Ltd Registration in 1948

The Company was registered as the Ashford Valley Cider Co. Ltd in 1948.
The business went bankrupt in 1957 and was taken over by Courage & Barclay Ltd in 1958.
The Company name changed to Ashford Valley Cyders Ltd around the time of the Courage takeover.

Trading Ceases in 1964

The firm ceased trading in 1964, and the original brewery buildings were demolished in 1971.
