It traded as the York & District Clubs brewery until 1939 when it merged with the Leeds & District Clubs Ltd. The Company was registered as the Yorkshire Clubs Brewery Ltd. The brewery was acquired by Northern Clubs Federation Brewery Ltd in 1973 when it supplied about 180 clubs with a wide range of beers. Brewing ceased in 1975.
