Parker's Burslem Brewery Co. Ltd Round Plastic

Parker's Burslem Brewery Co Ltd plastic tray dating from the 1940s. The business was founded in 1860 and began trading as Henry Parker. The Company was registered as Parker's Burslem Brewery Co. Ltd in 1889 with 110 public houses. The brewery was acquired by Ind Coope & Allsopp Ltd in 1949 with 468 tied houses. Ind Coope Ltd, as it was renamed in 1959, merged with Tetley-Walker Ltd and Ansells Brewery Ltd in 1961. The newly amalgamated business was renamed Allied Breweries Ltd which closed the Burslem Brewery in 1963. Most of the brewery buildings were demolished in the 1990s. This is only one of a handful of plastic trays I have in my entire collection.
