Oldham Brewery Co. Ltd tin tray dating from 1966. The business was founded in Oldham by William Boothby in 1868. The Company was registered as the Oldham Brewery Co.Ltd in 1873. The Albion Brewery was acquired by Boddington's Brewery Ltd in 1982 with 87 public houses. An agreement was made to keep the brewery open for five years and so it was closed in 1988. In 2006 Frederick Robinson Ltd purchased the Oldham Brewery brands and for a short period brewed OB Bitter. The manufacturer's mark states - Hancock Corfield & Waller Ltd Mitcham London. The tray pictured is a "File Copy" and was produced on 4.4.66.
