North Worcestershire Breweries Ltd copper tray dating from the 1890s. The Stourbridge Brewery was founded in the 1870s and by 1896 the business was named Haskew, Whitwell and Hands. The Company was registered as North Worcestershire Breweries Ltd to amalgamate the Stourbridge Brewery, the Rowley Brewery of Blackheath, the White Swan Brewery of Oldbury, and the Round Oak Brewery of Brierley Hill. with 135 public houses. Brewing was concentrated at the Stourbridge Brewery. The Stourbridge Brewery was acquired by Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries Ltd in 1909 with over 150 public houses. Evidence suggests that the buildings were used as maltings until 1920.
