East Anglian Breweries Ltd tin tray dating from 1956. The Forehill Brewery was based in Ely, Cambridgeshire.

East Anglian Breweries Ltd tin tray dating from 1956. The Forehill Brewery in Ely was built between 1869 to 1871 and was registered as Arthur & Bertram Hall Ltd in 1912. Cutlack & Harlock Ltd was the result of a merger between William Cutlack and its Littleport Brewery and Frank Harlock and its Quay Brewery in 1907. The Littleport Brewery was closed immedately after the merger. In 1930 Arthur & Bertram Hall Ltd merged with Hall & Cutlack Ltd to form Hall, Cutlack & Harlock Ltd. The Quay Brewery was closed in 1930 and all brewing was concentrated at Hall's Forehill Brewery. The Company name East Anglian Breweries Ltd was adpoted in 1950 when Hall Cutlack & Harlock Ltd merged with the Huntingdon Breweries Ltd. The Forehill Brewery was acquired by Steward & Patteson Ltd in 1957 which was acquired by Bullard & Sons Ltd in 1961. Bullard & Sons Ltd was acquired by Watney Mann Ltd in 1964 which closed the Forehill Brewery in 1969. The manufacturer's makes mark states - Reginald Corfield Ltd Lombard Road London. S.W.19. "Regicor" also appears at the bottom right hand side of the tray.
