Brear & Brown Ltd brass tray dating from the 1910s. The Company was registered as Brear & Brown Ltd in 1894. The Hipperholme Steam Brewery was acquired by Waller & Son Ltd in 1916 which transferred all its brewing to the site in 1917. The public houses were divided between Waller's Bradford Brewery Ltd and Richard Whitaker & Sons Ltd. The brewery continued to brew under the name of Waller's Bradford Brewery Ltd which had been registered as such in 1925. The Company was acquired by Leeds & Wakefield Breweries Ltd in 1935. The brewery closed though malting continued until 1973. The manufacturer's mark states - C.E.Wilkins Bartholomew Row. B.Ham
