Arnold & Hancock alloy tray dating from the 1950s. The business was founded in 1927 when S.W.Arnold & Sons Rowbarton Brewery merged with William Hancock & Sons (Wiveliscombe) Ltd. The Company was taken over from Usher's Wiltshire Brewery Ltd in 1955. The Rowbarton brewery based in Taunton ceased brewing in 1955 and the brewery in Wiveliscombe ceased brewing in 1959.
